Regional Training Course on "Organization and Competence of the Regulatory Body" under the project RAS "Establishing an Integrated Management System for Regulatory Bodies of ARASIA State Parties"

- Date: 13-17 February 2017
- Objective: The purpose of this regional training course is to provide guidance to the participants on the implementation of the IAEA safety requirements relating to the organization, management and competence of the regulatory body.
These will help to increase the comprehension of the IAEA safety requirements related to the organization, management and competence of the regulatory body; and increased knowledge on key concepts and methods for establishing and maintaining an effective and competent organization that is capable of discharging the regulatory functions effectively
- Participants: 20 participants from ARASIA members states whom has an established and functional Regulatory Body (Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Syria, Irak, Yemen, Jordan and Lebanon)


Bilateral meeting between the Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission- Ministry of Sciences and Technology and the Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission

- Date: 16-18 January 2013
- Objective: The meeting discussion will be focused on strenghtening the scientific collaboration betweenm the LAEC and the MoST-Iraq by signing a Memorandum of Understanding allow the exchnage of technical experience and knowledge relevant to nuclear analytical techniques

Training course on "Requirements of ISO standard 17025" dedicated for staff member at Al-Thuwaitha Laboratory, Iraq.

This training will be organized at LAEC during 22-26 January 2013 with the collaboration of the International Atomic Energy Commission
